What does it mean to be saved?

I like what Paul said…. I am saved, I am being saved, I will be saved.

But, to simply say that “I am saved” is pure arrogance and arrogance breeds apathy.

So, these are my thoughts.

I am saved:

I am saved by the past work of Christ, of nothing I have done, but chosen before the foundation of the world

I am being saved:

I am being saved by my participation in the work of Christ. My works are human, and in my humanity, and made anything only by Christ. I participate, but do not add or earn.

I will be saved:

In my times of distress I will be saved. In the moment of separation, I will be saved. In death or dire, I will be saved, but not yet
