The Big Bang isn’t a belief… it’s a fact

The big bang model asserts that observational evidence is consistent with a universe that originated from a dense and hot initial state some 13.7 billion years ago and that it has been expanding and cooling ever since. It’s important to understand that this claim is not a “belief”; it’s based on solid pieces of evidence.

  1. Well it’s still got loads of verfiable and public evidence behind it. Plus it was discovered by one of my favorite scientist heroes of all time the Beligum Catholic preist, Greoges Lemairte. Which is good for me because he’s a bit of a model for me.

  2. It’s a theory. One can choose to believe or not believe. A belief depends on the person as well as the knowledge possessed. I for one think that there is much still unknown about the universe and when more is discovered we will as always be wondering why we were so stupid.
