Sunday Thoughts – 5/22

Good morning.

What a long weekend, and an enjoyable weekend thus far. Yesterday, we had a cook-out and invited another family in the Church over. The kids had a blast. So did we. For the longest, we did not have adults in the Church, and all are already established.

I have prepare a short thought for this morning, which I hope someone in cyberspace enjoys. It is entitled, the Pushiness of Christ. He was pushy, you know.

I will have a longer one, not necessarily a better one – I am no preacher – next week. After all, we have a long, and pretty easy going week.

Remember, June 1, which is next Monday, I will be moving to For all those that might be subscribed through the RSS, make sure you use this link to subscribe. On June 1st, that link will be reconnected to the new home. I have a lot that I can do with my own domain, but on the front end (which you see) and the back end (which I see). I have been fortunate enough to have had someone set the entire thing up for me. I have also been blessed to get the domain name that I truly wanted – contrary to popular opinion, it’s not all about .me!

I hope all is well with each of you this morning. We are getting ready for service, the children – wait, yep, one just stormed off. They were playing the game where you slap the other person’s hands if said person could not move them fast enough. I had warned them that they shouldn’t do that, and now they know why.

We have had great progress with the baby, and we are happy. As a matter of fact, I felt the baby move for the first time this week. When my daughter was in the womb, she was very active. Approaching the end of the term, she would actually push up the belly in response to outside stimuli. It was a unique experience.

I working on a post on being ‘born again,’ but this time from a different angle. Well, different to me anyway. That will be my contender for the next podcast.

I hope all is well with each of you, and I’ll be praying.

  1. Hey Polycarp!

I wish you the best on the move to the new domain; I’m slowly working in the same direction. Wish I had a volunteer like you to do it for me! :-))

Knock it out of the park today! He lives and is more powerful than the Enemy, even though the world thinks otherwise.

A Brazilian “thanks!” for your dedication,

  2. Amen!

Great mini sermon.Your a preacher alright! Your fearless. Some do not like to be reminded or hear it preached that Jesus our Savior said the we gentiles were unworthy (little dogs).

Most of all i believe that you said it well,as to what Jesus was pushing the woman towards.I have never heard a preacher say this before! I am happy to hear that all is very good with your wife and baby.

Thank you for the good news and the great mini sermon.
