Quote of the Day: The Gay Agenda

The gay agenda has to stop, particularly in the schools. My grandson came home from school and said they were talking about homo sapiens in science class. We need to put a stop to this right now.

You don’t have to verify anything to submit to these ventlines, so it is difficult to tell if this is a prankster or not…

But in case it is not, there is a reason why 46% of Americans believe in Young Earth Creationism.

  1. Somehow this does not surprise me. I have seen the vent lines and have
seen many of the people who submit to them. I would not be shocked that this was a true concern of a person. Someone posted that Franklin said “We are all born ignorant. But it takes real effort to remain so stupid.” Even if this is not a real quote, it clearly sums up this vent whether true or not.

  2. Yup, there is a reason only 46% of the U.S. population (actually way less) population believes in young earth creationism. All one has to do is take a few psychology and statistics courses to understand that about 50% of the population falls below the average IQ of 100. And about 35% fall below 90. Interestingly, the actual numbers on young earth creationists are at about 26%, not 46%.

    1. Jayson, I’m not sure I would agree with you either on the IQ assessment in relation to Young Earth Creationism, especially given that their are rather intelligent individuals who hold to such values. Further, the polls that I’ve seen still show a 46% rate or somewhere near it.

      1. I have no research on this, but from personal experience, I’ve meet very few intelligent individuals who actually believed in YEC. I’ve meet several very intelligent people that believed in some form of divine intervention, only one believed in YEC. However, the majority of the people who proclaimed YEC to be absolutely correct had questionable intellectual ability.

    1. That’s a pretty stupid comment right there. You think Dawkins is stupid for the same reason Creationists think you are stupid; because they believe something you don’t.
