Quote of the Day: Hannity, you are a shrill

You have to watch this entire video here.

Quite frankly, you are the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen. …What you just displayed was not journalism. It was yellow journalism. It wasn’t anything close to try to tell the American people what’s really going on. I mean it’s just shocking.

…Every journalistic ethic I have ever heard of was just violated by you.

…You are a shill for the Republican party. …You alibi them 100% of the time.

Watch… let’s discuss.

  1. If Alex Jones is a dancing monkey, then Sean Hannity is a monkey throwing his own poo. Sean latches onto a talking point, and repeats it like a 5 year old in a fit. He asks questions uniquely designed to be unanswerable – at least in the moment – in order to make only his ideological foes look ridiculous. He has a pocketful of broadcasting tactics always loaded up and ready, so he can stymie one of his guests who appears to be winning that particular debate (notice this clip included many of them, including “you’re so angry”) He gave so many tongue baths to republican elected officials and Bush Administration acolytes, that I thought I would see him on the cover of ‘The Advocate.’

Most incriminatingly, he (for weeks) looked for things he could say (mostly false) that could swing as many votes as he could for Mitt Romney.

No matter what the ideological slant of hosts on other networks, there is no one as bad as Sean Hannity. Bill O’Reilly is close, but he fools you by talking about the “folks.”

What Keith Ellison did to Sean Hannity, Sean does to people on the television and radio for 4 hours each day. I would know, because I subject myself to more of his schlock than any human being should.

It may not have been as pretty as one might have imagined this going, but it needed to be done.

Unfortunately, Sean and his audience will just wear it as a badge of honor – not bright enough to see that your guy just got served.

  2. I am amazed by the lack of comments here. Maybe it is because regardless of what one thinks of Hannity ( and I am not a fan of his methods) it is very difficult to support the views of Keith Ellison. I have to wonder about posters who rant about name calling and then resort to some of the worst name calling to be found. If I were Tzar I would publish an executive order forbidding personal “name calling” in all venues. Also high on my list of bad would be yelling at an opponent and using extended BS to keep an opponent from having any time for their reply.
