Rob Kashow has a great post up on Confessional Institutions.
What is the purpose of higher education, at least in your mind, for these institutions, or at least should be? Don’t tell me what you think the hidden agenda is, but what you think that the ultimate purpose of Seminaries and other institutions of higher education devoted to the Scriptures, whether secular or sectarian, should be. Are they to be a sole apologetics resource, or should they broaden the Student’s mind? Should they focus only on spirituality? Things like that.
What say ye?
