WOWK is reporting that it is going to get ugly, but hopefully at least one of these storm cells may miss us. Dear Lord, I hope so.
Radar update 5pm – the Ohio storms are sliding east. Lots of warnings in that group of cells. These could have winds up to 50 mph. The watch from Columbus to about Summersville is for possible severe storms from now through 11pm. High winds, hail, downpours and lots of lightning are possible. The individual cells to the west are moving SLOWLY to the east toward Louisville. They MIGHT move as far east as Huntington after midnight but models aren’t overly jazzed. Again – please pass this on to friends who may only have Facebook to find news. We’ll be here all through the storm!
