I don’t know… Seems like a heavy emphasis on civilization and city building. Like a God produced version of SimCity.
If Eden emphasizes humans and animals living in peace, there must be a lot of cats within the New Jerusalem. Because there sure aren’t any dogs. Or any non-city dwelling animals. Maybe rats. Very urban. Very human-centric, at the expense of nature. I think I find more reason to reject Revelation, if John didn’t like dogs. Of course, maybe he was just speaking allegorically, and not exclusively a cat-person.
Rev 22:15 Without are the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.
