According to the criminal complaint, the woman pulled the vehicle over to keep the man from hitting her. Once stopped, the man grabbed the woman and dragged her to the emergency lane of the interstate. The boy, identified in the criminal complaint as Jahlil Clements, apparently got out of the vehicle in an attempt to get help when he was struck by a vehicle going about 60 mph, Jordan said.
This happened just a few hundred yards from us.
Sorry to hear. Hope you guys are okay. Things like this can really affect you.
You witnessed this? This must have traumatized you. I’m sorry.
No, I didn’t, actually, but we heard the sirens, etc… I just can’t believe that this happened in our city, right outside my front door, so to speak.
I did not know Jahlil very well but my mom had him in her class when she teached over on the westside. And when I went to work with my mom I would always see Jahlil with a smile on his face. And every time I seen him I would always go and talk to him. When I heard about what happend to Jahlil I broke down crying. I just wanted to say Im sorry for your lost.I’ll be praying for his family and friends. I know how it feels to loose someone because I lost one of my best friends in a car reck. So I know what you are going through. But I am really sorry for your lost. R.I.P Jahlil……
