Everyman's Bible now in my hands

Well, I got it – a week late because of my vacation, but expect a review shortly. Just glancing through, I find that it is ‘handy’ – meaning that it is a near pocket volume. Based on the NLT1 translation, it is filled with notes directed towards men. So far, I can see it becoming a favorite for young men’s bible studies/classes, grooms, and new fathers.

For more on my take on the NLT, see here. Some might find the translation ‘loose’ and to those who do, I encourage you to use the NLT as a ‘commentary’ along side the more literal translations, such as the KJV/NKJV.
