According to San Diego County (Calif.) Superior Court records, D’Souza filed for divorce only on Oct. 4, the day I spoke with him. Under California law, that starts the clock on a six-month waiting period for divorce. D’Souza on Oct. 4 told me his marriage was “over,” said he “is sure Denise is the one for me,” and said he had “done nothing wrong.”
The episode is a strange twist in D’Souza’s otherwise meteoric rise in the evangelical world. He developed a reputation among evangelicals with a string of best-sellers, including The Roots of Obama’s Rage, which spawned a movie,Obama: 2016, which has now grossed more than $30 million. He broke into the Christian conference and megachurch market in 2007 with the release of a book that year, What’s So Great About Christianity. (here)
Denise Odie Joseph II is the new love interest of the Evangelical’s darling propaganda meister… She has/had a blog,
Hello My Dear Ones! It’s so good to see you again! I’ve signed up for Facebook (against all odds) solely for the purpose of promoting my new lifestyle and opinion blog.
While I have almost no idea what I am doing, I have read that linking your blog from facebook is good for traffic in that it has a better chance of showing up on google. I have never blogged before and don’t understand 90% of the things I’m supposed to be doing but I’m giving it a go anyway. I suppose that the next step is to create a facebook site for the blog itself so stay tuned and friend my blog asap! i would love to hear your thoughts, whatever they are!
P.S. For all my Dear Ones near and far who may be offended by the content of my blog, I am sincerely sorry for any negative feelings it causes, though I am in no way sorry for the content itself. I just figure in these trying times, with brave people like RamZPaul out there doing what they can do, I should gal up and blog too!
In one post, she says she is married (or at least that is what I infer when she says she will vote for Romney because her husband told her too). At least one other post in January is about her husband as well. But we also know that she has followed D’Souza for a very long time, gushing over everything he does. Also, she things Republican Motherhood is one of the greatest inventions of the world.
Say, if a guy has no problems lying to his wife, what makes you think he would even for a moment be hesitant about lying to you, especially when lots of money is involved?
Frankly, divorce is a shame. When it happens, especially under lurid circumstances, we should do our best to offer prayer and support — HOWEVER, when two people, one who is the darling of the Evangelical Right, hold themselves up as the moral champions of truth and justice, and their hidden lives, their sins, find them out, then they deserve to answer the question of “What else are you lying about?”
A mentor once told me that if a man would stand before God and all of his family and friends and lie, make no mistake he would lie to any stranger on the street. Wise words… Now, maybe if all of my conservative friends who are gaga over 2016 the Movie will step back and ask themselves that question…
