Morgan has been very cunning about this. But I still want Britain to take him back. His show is 99% BORING!

  2. Prison for Alaska man who stockpiled weapons and threatened to use them in “a plot to kill government employees he portrayed as his enemies”. By the same standards, shouldn’t people like Alex Jones who insist on their right to keep weapons “to protect us from tyrannical government … 1776 will commence again” be behind bars?

We have fund the problem with our gun laws. They do not prevent mentally unstable persons from legally getting guns. Short of having a physcological review of everyone getting a gun (maybe a good idea), at least ban large capacity clips, hollow point bullets, and semiautomatic assault rifles. And I am not totally antigun. I am ashamed to say I was an NRA member at one time, and hunted. Hunting is OK if you eat what you shoot. NRA leadership has gone onto the crazy side, only promoting doing the nothing.

    2. You would think, Peter, but I suspect that if they did, then it would create a lot of problems.

      1. I guess if someone has already stockpiled weapons and you then declare him “lunatic” and try to confiscate the weapons, you need a well trained SWAT team or something to disarm them. Is that the kind of problem you have in mind?

        1. Not really. I doubt Jones as the male bits he thinks he does. It’s like hitting a bully and saying see, see he’s going to hit me and when you do, you’ll know I’m right… and yet, you keep hitting the bully. So, when the bully finally does hit back, you claim that you were right all along.

Or maybe, a single word answer:

          Martyrdom
