  1. A little convenient massacre.

    A little convenient massacre.

There’s something fundamentally wrong with a person who can even think of that. Two dozen kids, slaughtered. If your first, or second, third, fourth, … really, any … thought is “How is this going to be used against me?” then there is something deeply wrong in your heart and soul. If you can even slightly imagine saying and meaning that Newtown was “a little convenient massacre” then I worry about you.

The question no one in power is asking is whether the seminal factor in school shootings might be public education rather than either firearms or mental illness. That said, this more than likely intentional oversight is quite understandable given both the intend and history of American public education. In fact, there is no such thing as American public education. It’s actually Prussian!

Much like Ted Kennedy and George W. Bush, Andrew Cuomo is an all too predictable product of privilege. As a result, he’s one of those little piles of political feces for whom life has obviously come just a little too easy.
    .
Cuomo’s got the mouth of Rudy Giuliani and, most probably having divorced his first wife (not surprisingly a Kennedy) and (at last report) shacked up with a girlfriend, he has the morals of Arnold Schwarzenegger (interestingly enough, also once married to a Kennedy). Moreover, as with Giuliani, and before them Al Smith (Franklin Roosevelt’s challenger in 1932), Cuomo’s soundbites play well in New York but quickly lose their luster in the rest of the country.
    .
Frankly, I’m not for Cuomo resigning any more than I want to see Chris Christie pull a Palin (resigning from office in midterm as did former Alaska governor and mouthy moron Sarah Palin). To the contrary, I want both of them to continue making public spectacles of themselves! My only regret is that they’re doing it at public expense.
