the Methodist will take the World

It used to be in our Book of Discipline that we were to take the world… and of course, Wesley sent the first Methodist preachers to the United States with the mission of wiping out Calvinism…

the methodist will take over the world

From ‘The Spiritual Song Book, Designed as an Assistant for the Pious of all Denominations’ compiled by David B. Mintz “minister of the gospel M.E.C.” (Halifax, N.C.,; printed by Abraham Hodge, 1805).

HT some guy on the facesbook.

  1. “The Methodists Will Take the World”, an ancient text found
by United Methodist leaders gathering in Houston on August 1 and 2, 2016.

Much like the book that the priest Hilkiah said he found in the Temple in 622 BC.

And hey, I kind of liked Voltaire. He had a good sense of humor.
