Jesus is not your pop icon

I realize this is me and all, but come on. I’m all for finding religion in these things but isn’t this cheapening the Gospel just a bit?

Watts holds a MA in Theological Studies from United Theological Seminary. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of the Free State, analyzing Paul’s model of atonement in Galatians, as well as seeking an MA in Clinical Mental Health at Adams State University.     Mark 2:16 “How is it that he eateth and drinketh with publicans and sinners?”

    Now that’s the kind of doctor I can relate to. And I’m not talking “pop”!
