“He brings in the vile arch-heretic, almost as archy and heretical as Calvin, Marcion.”

He may have taught two gods, but at least he didn’t teach no stinking predestination. His edition of Romans probably lacked about all of Romans 3-9 anyway. In fact, probably his theology was made up by Irenaeus and Tertullian, and he didn’t teach two gods at all. Probably they were Calvinists who wanted to add in that material and his edition was proving them to be liars.

    1. Probably you don’t know what you are talking about, probably?

  2. Mark was a “literary event”? You mean, something like a book launch party? Somehow I can’t imagine the Evangelist signing copies of his manuscript for admiring fans, surrounded by other authors and publishers sipping cocktails!

    1. ah… ha… Yeah, I’m working on a term/concept here.

What I mean is a literary composition that goes behind itself. So Mark composed and a new chapter in Christianity began.
