  1. The death of Christ pertains to the salvation of souls. The Bible speaks of it as one act that grabbed many souls from being plunged into the fiery fires of hell. Each year, His death is commemorated to remind us that despite being saved thousands of years ago, we still need to work on goodness to allow us to be with God in His kingdom when we die. More than the blood spilled on the cross and more than our religious affiliations, it is our faith that will bring us to true redemption.
