Fred Phelps has died

I pray for the soul of Phelps who has died this morning. I hope the reaction from those he hated is “out of all proportion” to the damage he has done.

He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of the Free State, analyzing Paul’s model of atonement in Galatians.   1. Fred Phelps died decades ago. An illusion of life persisted only because his physical heart continued to beat until quite recently.
