We tend to call these fundamentalists. These are the people who discourage any thinking, learning, or otherwise serious engagement of Scripture because of some silly notion of a slippery slope.
You’ve met the types – only the bible. That’s the only library they need.
You know, like the trolls that dot the biblioblogosphere.
