Wonder what Yael and Deborah would say? Women now allowed in Combat

In a surprise move, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta removed the military ban on women in combat on Wednesday. Lifting the ban will open service on the front lines to thousands of women. Some Republicans have opposed putting women in combat because of alleged physical inferiority to men. However, women have unofficially served in combat roles for decades in “female engagement teams” attached to official ground combat units.

Some news on this had circulated recently, but I didn’t expect this.

Guess the President is serious about some of his processive agendas…
