George Romney would have come at least close to winning the nomination for Presidency had he not commented that the Generals in Vietnam attempted to brainwash him. That was it. His career was done.
And now?
“I think my biggest concern obviously would just be for his mental well-being,” she said. “I have all the confidence in the world in his ability, in his decisiveness, in his leadership skills, in his understanding of the economy. … So for me I think it would just be the emotional part of it.” (here)
This is a touchy subject, of course… but the words here… just wow.

George Romney was correct. I would say he had the courage to say what he believed (and history proved that George was right). He also had no problems showing 10 years of tax returns. I would vote for him if he was running. Not so his son.
But then again, I also voted for George McGovern. That didn’t work out so well either.
