Joel L. Watts holds a Masters of Arts from United Theological Seminary with a focus in literary and rhetorical criticism of the New Testament. His interests include exploring the role of mimesis in human civilization, specifically in the study of religion and media, as well as science fiction and the way in which it has allowed mythology to be explored in light of scientific discoveries of the past century. He is the author of Mimetic Criticism of the Gospel of Mark: Introduction and Commentary (Wipf and Stock, 2013) and a co-editor and contributor to From Fear to Faith: Stories of Hitting Spiritual Walls (Energion, 2013).

I disagree with the first quote profoundly. See my post: The theory of evolution and the theology of creation
Well everyone has the right to be wrong!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA…Snort! Chuckle!, etc. ad nauseum.
Thanks for the laugh. The Bible says evil people are deceived and deceiving, so why are you supporting evil ideas from evil people? God said, He who is not for me is against me–so why are you against God and His word?
Jesus said, My Sheep hear MY voice– Jesus never spoke of evolution so why are you accepting it?
Jesus never spoke of electricity either or paper or cars or modern medicine moron
BUT HE DID speak about creation.
No he didn’t
You are kidding right? You openly deny Jesus’ words? read Mark 13:19
I openly deny your understanding of those words.
I’m not inclined to get into a useless discussion of evolution but I believe we have very little understanding of exactly what gravity forces are all about. We know it exists but not all about why. At any rate, I wish the second quote were more true as many scientists fall prey to political forces.
It should be factual… but you are right.
