A suspect was in custody Monday afternoon after a shooting at an Oakland Christian university left at least five dead.
The gunman is reported to have opened fire in a classroom at Oikos University, hitting some of his victims at point-blank range. Police described the gunman as an Asian male with a heavy build, wearing khaki clothing, but they have not identified the person in custody.
