    *sigh* I know we’ve been over this before, Joel. Like it or not, there’s an ideologically consistent reason for this.

      *BTW, I still think that the best thing for the country would be for a Ron Paul presidency with a Democratic congress

        Sure. Here’s a brief write-up explaining his position. And here’s a more detailed explanation from the horse’s mouth.

        About Pres. Paul and a Democratic Congress, I agree at least as far as saying that it would be the best situation we’ve seen in…who knows how long. But I expect that he’d be a check on the impulses of a Republican Congress hardly any less.

  2. what a bizarre video. All I see is a reasonable four-minute explanation of Ron Paul’s principled stand for transparency surrounded by rude pig noises. I’m not sure whether it was the pig noises or the explanation that prompted you to get the feeling that Ron Paul is just another stinking politicians.
