I am Spock to Jim’s Kirk

See, that works because Jim is Jim and Captain Kirk’s first name is Jim.

So yes, I am back on top for today, but does it give me joy?

Well, duh. Sure it does.

But, Jim needs to be number 1. I need to be number 2. Would Spock make a good captain? No. Because he is an unemotional, unfeeling, pointy-eared alien. Wait… that sorta describes Jim.

Anyway… I can’t be number one…

Unless… unless this is the Mirror Universe where Spock (episode 33/39) has to kill Kirk to take over the Enterprise to make the cosmos a safer place.

See, Star Trek provides the analogy for all of life’s situations.

Let me note that according to the bank, today is 31 May. Jeremy, post the rankings.

  1. Don’t worry, Joel. You won’t be Spock to that pseudo-captain for much longer. Soon you will be Spock to a real Kirk, and I don’t mean Daniel.

  2. i’m disappointed in peter. he didnt work in a link to his blog. he’s slipping or perhaps come to some sense of sanity. oh wait, that’s just absurd! that never happens to bentley worshiping pentebabbleists.

  3. If you’re Spock, what does that make me?
