Souls for Sale on eBay – In for a penny, in for a pound

Joel Landon Watts is a Masters of Theological Studies student with a focus in Mimetic Criticism of the Gospel of Mark. His interests include exploring the role of mimesis in human civilization, specifically in the study of religion and media, as well as science fiction and the way in which it has allowed mythology to be explored in light of scientific ideals of the past century. Currently, he is a TA for Old Testament at United Theological Seminary under Dr. Vivian Johnson, Associate Professor of Old Testament. His first book, Rhetorical Strategies of the Evangelist: Mimetic Criticism of the Gospel of Mark, is expected to be published by Wipf and Stock early next year. 1. As if he had any rights to his soulbto begin with. The Author and creator of his soul exercises total dominion over it and it will be used for said Creator’s glory.

  2. I’d buy that for a dollar!

  3. Sorry my total recal fails me, its as if the memory of that movie was a Running man
and my mind was a confused predator but then it could all just be true lies.

  4. Oops Joels right. Well bad sci-fi is bad sci-fi

  5. Ah well unity in essentials and charity in all else right? But then you are probably not a fan of Jesus Christ vampire Slayer :(

  6. Wow I am out of it… that should have been Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter not slayer

  7. I am a big fan of the sci-fi, space opera and future fantasy genres. However few are executed well on film.

  9. I had a friend who put her sanity up on Ebay several years ago. It included a tin foil hat and half a dozen empty toilet paper rolls (just ’cause).

Ebay took it down after a couple of days.

“Robocop” is many things … awesome isn’t one of them.
