Perhaps the only Android App you will ever need

For those of you with an Android phone, I have created a first generation, 1.0, app for the NLT community. It contains links to the NLT Online, Interlinear, NLT Blog, Facebook Community (to the mobile site), and to the Tyndale House Blog. It is not in the market yet, but once I move to the 2.0, it should be. It is free and will be so, and locked to point to only official Tyndale/NLT pages. I hope to include, at some point, a link to the verse of the day via Twitter, as well as NLT/Tyndale House news. That will require me learning java source code, but sure, why not.

You will need a barcode scanner and a gmail account, or an email associated with Google.com. Scan the above and away you go. The app will be listed as NLT with the Android icon in your phone.

It is a labor of love as many of you know, I happen to like the NLT and Tyndale. I’ll update this whenever I get to the 2.0 level.
