Can you reject the Imago Dei? These people have…

I have come to the theological precept that some people, and I stress some, have so rejected the Image of God, that they are simply without hope. If there is an example that I would call to mind, it might be the ‘neighbors’ in this story.

Kathleen Edward’s family knows the 7-year-old is dying. They just don’t appreciate the constant reminders from their neighbor in Trenton.

Fox 2 reports Edwards is in the final stages of Huntington’s Disease, a degenerative brain disorder which killed her mother, Laura, at the age of 24.

But neighbor Jennifer Lynn Petkov is far from sympathetic, as you can see in the shocking video at right.

Petkov admitted to the television station that she posted images to Facebook depicting the 7-year-old’s face above a set of crossbones and the mother in the arms of the grim reaper.

Why?

“Personal satisfaction,” she said without apology. “Because it rubs their a—s raw. Burns their a—s.” (here)

  1. Wow. Disgusting. totally depravity.

  2. I think this women is actually a few steps above Yahweh, the Hebrew war deva. While she does mock dying children, at least she doesn’t slaughter them in Biblical scale.
