Petraeus Condemns Plan To Burn Qurans: ‘It Could Endanger Troops’

Let’s remember as well that Gen. Petraeus took the same line against Israel and their antagonism towards the Palestinians,

“It could endanger troops and it could endanger the overall effort,” Gen. Petraeus said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “It is precisely the kind of action the Taliban uses and could cause significant problems. Not just here, but everywhere in the world we are engaged with the Islamic community.”

Joel Landon Watts is a Masters of Theological Studies student with a focus in Mimetic Criticism of the Gospel of Mark.   1. This can’t be right. Gotta be a misquote. ‘Cause otherwise you’d have a military official acknowledging the existence of “blowback”, which is unthinkable, “blame America first”, troops-hating, liberal propaganda.
