I would think 1881 is a good year to note as a line of demarcation of overlap and underlap of the Church of the Laodiceans and the Church in Philadelphia because after all, that is when the Laodiceans started to accept the old/new Bible which after 7 years were rewarded for their deeds by being visited by Jack the Ripper (by their fruits ye shall know them). The Philadelphian Church Age will continue as long as the Rapture because there are going to be those who stand for the faith once delivered to the saints until that time. I reckon he means that the KJVO was once delivered to the Saints – Peter, Paul, they all used it, or so I have been told.
I challenge any KJVO’er to show me in the biblical text the validation for the KJVO doctrine, which is new, developed, and never heard before a 7th Day Adventist started the myth of the ‘perfect bible.’

the fact that there's even a blog where this issue is debated demonstrates the absolute dilettantism of all those taking part. it's like having a blog devoted to the flat earth debate. only fringe lunatics would take part…
I think that the group is meant to draw in those who still believe such tripe.
As a contributor to the KJVO Debate Blog I must say that it exists for a purpose. There is a large number of people in this world who are KJVO. It takes on a cult-like character. There's much hatred and vitriol at times that is flung at those who use newer translations of the Scriptures.
Those of us who contribute at KJVO have come out of that foolishness and wish to help others come out of the same legalistic and irrational mindset. You have no idea, probably, how deeply this is entrenched in Independent Fundamental Baptist circles. It extends beyond the IFB, too. There are people who need help to get beyond the brainwashing that they receive. That is why we blog there.
If you don't wish to take part, do not. We won't insist that you do. DO NOT, however, call us lunatics. You are only speaking out of ignorance when you do so.
By the way, if there were a large number of people in my circle who believed in a flat earth I would indeed find a way to debate and engage them. There are some things that are so foolish, yet so deeply entrenched that a great effort must be made to lead folks away from it.
I would hope that you would do the same if there were a problem where you are.
Nice to know all the terrible things in the world that have happened since 1978 are apparently attributable to God being upset at the success of the NIV.
