Rick Joyner says God endorses Sarah Palin for President

From the video here.

Here is a partial transcript of that Rick Joyner then says -

“It really caught my attention that the congresswomen in that meeting had extraordinary authority, and spiritual authority as well as authority. I thought these are truly remarkable leaders … and some of them you are going to hear about, some of them, one of them, I have seen on the news constantly doing interviews and all - that was Michele Bachman? . I was taken by her at first, this girl really has something on her.

And I spent a while this week talking to Sarah Palin on the phone …

“… and trying to encourage her, tell her how much we appreciated the incredible campaign that she ran. You know this lady really got beat up by the press and to me it was shocking the bias and how the other side would say the silliest things you could imagine and not even get a mention on it, and things Sarah Palin said was just taken out of context. But in one sense that really encouraged me and it encouraged me that the democrats have their people up in Alaska right now watching her every move trying to find anything they can just hammer her on and make it out in a negative sense. And they are obviously extremely threatened by her and I believe rightly so. I believe there’s a spiritual authority and calling on Governor Palin and it is extraordinary, and I told her in no uncertain terms that I appreciate her heart for Alaska – and she truly has a heart for Alaska, I mean she is just in love with her state and we should all be that way. She wants to be the best governor she can and do the best job for the Alaskan people, and that is certainly wonderful but I believe she has a national calling on her life. I felt that when I first saw her on the television. When I was walking through the room I didn’t even know who she was, it was when John McCain was entering and using her as a running mate, but she was already speaking and I didn’t even know who she was but I felt right away I was listening to the president of the United States and it is just a strange feeling. I have prophetic feelings like that and they come true

“… and even though I didn’t share publicly, I shared it with a number of people in the last few years and I felt the same way when I heard Obama speak at the democratic convention. This guy has a call on his life ans authority whether you think its good or evil or what he’s doing up there. And I believe he is, and I’m still praying for the man to get a revelation, to get godly counsel. I’m deeply concerned about the way things are going and the ways things are being run up in Washington. And the bills that are being passed, I cannot even connect with them, I cannot understand what they are trying to do. But I’m not giving up on the man, I’m not giving up on Sarah Palin either.

And the reason that I’m sharing that with you is that we all need to – you know, when the press goes after someone like that, or when the accuser goes after someone like that – you know, I don’t think we need to let them win. I don’t think we need to let the media win and just beat someone down like that. We’ve let it happen in the past – some of our really good people. I’ve met Dan Quayle, I knew him a little bit. He is a brilliant man, even the democrats in the senate said he was a brilliant senator, yet the media pasted him as some buffoon. And it just wiped out his career. I think he could have been an incredible public servant.

We cannot allow the media to win with Sarah Palin. I don’t believe that. I’m gonna stand up and I want to encourage her but encourage you to. We need somebody like her and … but it really got my attention with these congresswomen. It seems to be an extraordinary authority coming on women for leadership and government. And I know a lot of Christians don’t believe women should carry that kind of authority but I do. I personally do. I really believe we need some more Margaret Thatchers. And I believe… that’s what I’ve been praying for.. for the Lord to raise up….I look forward to the next woman president. I’m not ashamed of that.

I think we’ve got some extraordinary leaders raising up and in these times when there seems such a void of leadership it may be coming through places and people we’re not expecting. And I’m sharing this trying to encourage you to open the eyes of your heart, of your eyes, I want the Lord’s leadership whoever it comes through and I think we’re going to have some extraordinary women to arise for leadership for our country and I’m excite about it …”

Now, let me ask you a question – do you really want the likes of Rick Joyner giving counsel to any of our elected leaders?

To answer you question … NO! ;-)

    • Jose Bustos says

I prayed for my country when this so-called president was elected,as many of us Christians know that he is a Muslim at heart, rejected the American National Day of Prayer, but honors Muslims world wide. I served 24 yrs. in the military, and cried when I heard that Obunga got elected, yet I know that a great majority of military people DO NOT ACCEPT THIS MAN AS THEIR COMMANDER IN CHIEF. I, like tens of thousands of Christians believe, that Christ Jesus HAS ORDAINED Sarah Palin to be our next President. The only question I have is: do we address her as Mrs. President or Madam President?

      • Polycarp says

Well, that’s about the stupidest thing I’ve heard today. It is racist, ignorant and if you had any amount of military in you, you would say such stupid things.

We address her as the bumbling moron she is, and if she is elected President, we’ll know for sure that the End is right around the corner.

  3. If God has called Sarah Palin to lead this country, as many of us believe, then she surely will. I can think of no one I would rather see in the White House. This is an amazing woman of strength and courage and a love of country so many lack today. God bless Sarah Palin, and God bless America!

  5. Sorry you feel that way.

  8. The thing is … what has Gov. Palin done to warrant this loyalty? Devotion? Idolatry?

You know, one of the things I liked about Mike Huckabee was that he is a Christian, but I never felt the need to pretend that I was getting prophetic messages about him or that God would rain down His wrath on the nation that turns its back on him. I liked his politics, and I liked his character — his character, largely based on that faith.

As a Christian, I’m deeply troubled by the marriage of politics and faith. It results in a lot of bad decisions.

Jerry Falwell is said to have presided over the marriage of the Religious Right and the Republican Party … which is unfortunate, since the Church is already the Bride of Christ. It has no business marrying again.

  10. Wickle, you know that I fully agree with you. My first choice what John E. and then Mike. Had Mike gotten the Republican Party’s nomination, I would have supported him, I believe.

When John brought in Sarah, it was a hail mary pass, and it backfired on him. Had McCain stuck to the John of 2000, he would have beaten Obama by a wide margin, I believe.

  11. I think that you’re right.

In 2000, I liked John McCain. He apparently that he had to turn into a different person altogether … he turned into a person I wasn’t about to support. I think you’re right, that the level-headed, experienced, serious, sober John McCain of 2000 could have given Obama a run for his money, anyway. Bitterly partisan McCain of 2008 was hopeless.

Thats where the profits are heading.

They think that will give them all the power they need to ‘run things’ in their way. They prophecy to justify their actions. Not to gift mankind.

    Thats a false prophet/profit

(Can you imagine Mr Bentley, Mr Jones, Mr Joyner and Co. in the white house!

  24. OMG! Please…this has to be a joke! Palin is not only totally unqualified, she is completely ignorant.

  26. Polycarp, I wonder who you did support, if not McCain…And I think the Palin supporter is right. If God wants her to be president, she will.

I don’t vote for people, I vote for their past performance on the most important issues. Abortion first, Euthanasia second, embryonic stem cell research, third, same-sex ‘marriage’ next, and human cloning last. A pro-abort candidate is automatically out of the running in my ballot. And down the line. Obama was on the anti-life side of all 5.

  28. I disagree, David.

  29. I disagree, David.

  30. With what? That life issues come first, that Obama was on the wrong side of all of them? Or that, if it’s God’s will Sarah will be president? You can vote other if you define what other is…:) Palin was certainly a more qualified candidate for VP than Joe Biden is. On many levels.

  32. Ms. Palin was one of the most unqualified candidates that I have seen in a long time. She was wholly inapt.

Senator Biden is able, although a loud mouth. He has experience in foreign policy and that is what we need at the moment. Sure, he cannot see Russia from his house, but I think he will do fine.

Now President Obama was write on a lot of life issues, including abut not limited to poverty.

  33. How was she unqualified to be a VP (who does virtually nothing unless the President dies)??? She had executive power, which Biden had none.
The issues that are most important to our world are for us to respect our God and do what He wants. Respecting life is tantamount. Of the two VPs and two Presidential candidates, Palin was head and shoulders above the other three, McCain was second. Until we respect life and its sactity from natural birth to natural death, nothing else matters in my book (and many, many others). Trouble is, most of America sees only the temporal, and that’s a big problem.
I’d like to know how Obama is right on any life issue.

  34. Obama is right on poverty, war, etc…. I do not think that he is pro-abortion, but is pro-choice. This country is only temporal, David – it is not up to the government to decide moral issues or the Church to decide political issues.

  35. hopesome says

Jesus was a discerner of hearts. He knew what they held. If you want something to happen ie: Mrs Palin for president then I am sure that a passage in the bible could be found that would justify what you want.

So next time you SEE GOD why not ask him if he wants Mrs Palin to be the next president. IT’S SO EASY TO USE HIS NAME ISN’T IT.

Abortion, gambling, healthcare, etc., we all have opinions on. You don’t win Jesus’s heart with opinions, you go to HIM with them.

  37. What is Obama doing differently regarding poverty? What is he doing differently regarding war in the Middle East? Escalating it. There is no distinction between pro-choice and pro-abortion. Murder is an absolute evil.

Our government was based on moral issues, and yes, it all starts there. We must return to a philosophical respect for life, and especially the most innocent-the unborn and elderly, and those like Terri Schiavo. Abortion is just an over-response to the loosening of sexual morals. But in a way, you’re right. But the government should uphold natural moral law. Government is supposed to protect the people, and it fails.

When did it ever become wrong for government and religion to work together for the common good? The Church is not against the government, Polycarp, but it seems the government is against the Church.

  38. HS, the bible is clear about all things. If God had wanted Sarah in office, He would have made it happen.

  39. David, it seems that we disagree here.

  40. It’s the fundamental difference between Catholics and other Christians. I think all life is important.

Regarding God’s plan, that’s a mystery. We’ll need to be patient and see how it unfolds.

  41. David, all life, from conception to the grave is of the utmost importance. We bare in this life, even in conception (The Word), the image of God. There should not be a difference here.

  42. Polycarp, so if life is the most important issue, where are we disagreeing? All of what President Obama has done has been anti-life. And bailouts for undeserving corporations. But if life is all-important, why are we, as a country, ignoring it, and why did someone who wants to allow killing of the most innocent get put into office. I think we need to practice what we believe.

But if life is all-important, why are we, as a country, ignoring it, and why did someone who wants to allow killing of the most innocent get put into office. I think we need to practice what we believe.

  44. David,

I do not believe that you are giving President Obama a fair shake. To be honest, there are more issues than abortion. It is an evil practice, but will not be stopped by a government – this is where the Church comes in at. Secondly, I think that given time, President Obama will do more to erase poverty than any President before him. This too is a life issue. Further, I believe that he is a President that supports workers and worker’s rights. Again, another life issue. He supports education. And he is willing to work on programs to reduce abortion.

What have the national Republicans ever done to reduce Abortion?

The bail-outs started before his term of office, caused by the previous eight years of ruin.

  45. The bail-outs aside (I disagree with them, too) the economic problem was caused by greed which was enabled by the folks who think that every person, regardless of ability to pay, should be able to own a home. People went for the bait, and now the sharks are circling.

While you are right on about the abortion issue starting in the heart, what is the government doing, aside from throwing condoms and Planned Parenthood at it, to change the mindset? What’s Hollywood doing, besides promoting free sex.

Regarding poverty, Jesus told us there would always be poverty. But it’s the Church that does more with less to stem poverty. Less than a quarter of every dollar we pay into taxes for welfare gets to the people who need it-the rest is bureaucratic.

  46. Furthermore, to talk about workers rights, I don’t think the democrats are as worker oriented as you do. So far, every time Obama has opened his mouth, the stock market has dropped a ton. The bailout plan (which he could have vetoed) is not going to solve anything.

Here again, with the economy, the problem is that people are so engrossed in their own piece of the pie. It’s ridiculous how much me, me, me there is out there! Buy this, buy that, drive like a maniac and who cares about the guy I just cut off??? Flip him the finger and forget it. Buy a mortgage when you can’t possibly afford the balloon payment, then when you get foreclosed, let the government buy you out. We need to advocate and promote caring about the other person. God first, everyone else next, me last. We are all here to serve as Jesus did. Even down to washing the feet of the apostles. Serving as the Good Samaritan did. Reagan did a very good job of this, pretty much. And we’ve seen the power of this kind of attitude. Reagan had it, Thatcher had it, and John Paul II, the pope, had it, too. And Communism fell because of it.

  47. David, you and I will not agree on these issues, as we are very partisan. I am right, it seems, on this while you are wrong.

  48. [...] the dominionist doctrine, and spoke with God daily. It wasn’t too long ago, that Rick Joyner had declared that God would still do something with Sarah. Remember, at various times, she ‘Esther’ anointing or ‘Deborah’ anointing. [...]
